Those who know Lauren often say that though she is small, she is fierce.
She is relentless in the pursuit of justice for her clients.
Lauren attended Louisiana State University where she graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Without skipping a beat she pursued her law degree and graduated in 2014 from Southern University Law Center, Cum Laude with a Juris Doctorate and Master’s of Public Administration.
She is not only a lawyer but daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt. and wife. She is proudly married to Veteran, Adam Brister, who she met in Baton Rouge. Together they live on a 14 acre farm with numerous farm animals and pets. Because of her life long love for animals, Lauren also volunteers as an attorney for the LA Humane Society and also rescues animals.
Lauren is licensed in all LA district courts and a member of LA State Bar Association.
When she began her career in law, her office was in downtown Baton Rouge, LA. She is always proud to be part of the culture of downtown Baton Rouge and to have spent many years celebrating its growth. Since opening those doors she has represented hundreds of accident victims from all over the state of Louisiana.
This is because most lawsuits against insurance companies can be filed in Baton Rouge. While her business thrived in Baton Rouge, she missed her small town charm. After the pandemic of 2020 and 2021, she sought out a more rural life and closeness to her family. She opened up her brand new office in the spring of 2022. This new space is better designed to serve her client's needs and to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
